Fine Cleaning Machines
topic
Fine cleaners use saw-toothed carding rollers with feeding in clamped condition, creating very small tufts through intensive opening. The Rieter B 60 UNIflex uses a filling chute with aluminium lamellae for dedusting, a perforated drum for second dedusting, and an adjustable opening cylinder with a grid of carding segments and knives. The Trützschler CLEANOMAT TFV is available with 1–4 rollers of progressively finer wire and increasing speed.
Role
Fine cleaners are the most aggressive machines in the blowroom, placed directly before the card to enable gentler treatment at the licker-in. The latest generation integrates fine cleaning into the card chute, distributing the load across multiple cards and improving quality by operating at lower production rates per unit.
