Suction System Design and Air Circulation

topic
Modern cards require 4,000–5,000 m³/h of suction air per machine. Suction removal systems operate at multiple positions: infeed region, flat entrance and exit, within the flats, between main cylinder and doffer, at web detaching, beneath the main cylinder, and in the coiler. The systems operate continuously to maintain constant conditions.

Role

Comprehensive suction design ensures no dust or fly escapes from any machine in the carding room. The high air volumes required make integration with air-conditioning essential for energy efficiency and effective climate control.
