Single fibre pullout testing embeds a fibre length of 0.1 to 1.0 millimetres in a droplet of cured matrix resin and pulls the fibre from the matrix at controlled displacement rate, measuring peak pullout force and post-peak friction force from which interfacial shear strength and friction coefficient are calculated; microbond and fragmentation tests provide alternative approaches to interfacial property quantification in different stress state configurations.
