Pad-dry-cure ranges impregnate fabric with finishing chemical solution through a padder at 60 to 80 percent wet pickup, dry in a hot air stenter or cylinder dryer at 100 to 130 degrees Celsius to remove moisture before condensation polymerisation occurs, and then cure in a curing oven at 150 to 180 degrees Celsius for 1 to 4 minutes to crosslink the finish chemical within and between cellulosic fibre polymer chains for permanent durable finish application.
