Rotary Screen Printing Machines
topic
Rotary screen printing machines use seamless cylindrical nickel screens with photoengraved pattern apertures rotating at speeds of 50 to 120 metres per minute with print paste pumped inside the rotating screen and forced outward through the pattern apertures by a fixed internal squeegee, with up to 24 screens per machine enabling multi-colour continuous printing at production rates of 3000 to 7000 metres per hour.
Role
Provides the highest productivity printing method for high-volume solid colour and geometric pattern fabrics through continuous rotary operation that eliminates the step-advance stops of flat screen printing, with rotary screen printing being the dominant technology for mass-market fashion fabric, bedlinen, and home textile printing where production volume and cost per metre are the primary commercial drivers.
