Multi-Chamber Blending Machines
topic
The Trützschler MCM/MPM Multiple Mixer has 6–8 adjacent chute chambers filled successively with material blown from above, while material is removed from all chutes simultaneously for good long-term blending. The Rieter B 70 UNImix uses 8 chutes with a 90° deflection from vertical to horizontal, creating different distances from individual chutes to the spiked lattice, resulting in good long-term blending combined with short-term blending at the lattice/evener roller.
Role
These machines are essential in modern blowroom lines to compensate for the sequential (not simultaneous) extraction of automatic bale openers. They collect fibre bunches arriving sequentially from individual bales and mix them thoroughly.
