Role
Provides the primary mechanical bonding technology for producing heavy-weight, thick nonwoven fabrics for technical applications including geotextiles, automotive interior, acoustic insulation, and filtration where the three-dimensional fibre interlocking of needlepunching produces fabrics with thickness, compressibility, and mechanical properties not achievable by thermal or chemical bonding methods for fabrics above 200 grams per square metre.
