Sizing Machinery

category
Sizing machinery applies adhesive sizing agents from aqueous solution or hot melt onto warp yarn through immersion, squeezing, and drying processes to coat and bind surface fibres, improving weaving performance by increasing yarn tenacity, reducing hairiness and abrasion susceptibility, and enabling high-speed weaving without the excessive warp break rates that would occur with unsized yarn.

Role

Enables high-speed shuttleless weaving of spun yarns by applying the protective and binding size coating that reduces warp break rate by 70 to 90 percent compared to unsized yarn, with sizing process control determining size add-on, penetration, and film formation quality that collectively govern the weaving efficiency and desizing completeness of the sized warp beam.
