Waste Management and Recycling Systems

topic
Spinning mills produce directly reusable waste, dirty waste, and dust/fly. Waste recycling installations can operate on-line (continuous re-blending) or off-line (pressing into bales for later use). The Rieter recycling system uses B 12 UNIclean, mixing opener, and optional B 60 UNIflex to process waste from all blowroom machines and cards. Savings on raw material for a 10,000 t/year mill can reach US$ 475,000 annually.

Role

Waste management is both an economic imperative and environmental responsibility. Modern mills remove waste pneumatically with air as the collecting medium. About 3 bale presses (or silos) are sufficient for a normal cotton spinning mill to separate different waste types for appropriate recycling or disposal.
