Hydroentanglement and Spunlace Machinery

category
Hydroentanglement machinery uses high-pressure water jets directed at a fibre web on a porous conveyor to entangle individual fibres mechanically through the hydraulic energy of the jets, producing spunlace nonwovens with textile-like drape, softness, and absorbency without chemical binders by using water as the bonding mechanism through fibre-to-fibre mechanical interlocking created by the jet energy.

Role

Produces the softest, most textile-like nonwoven fabrics for wipes, medical, and apparel applications by using water jet energy to entangle fibres without chemical binder addition that would stiffen the fabric, enabling production of wipes, medical dressings, and interlinings with the absorbency, softness, and drape properties of woven textile at nonwoven production speeds and cost.
