Multi-Beam Spunbond Lines for High Production

topic
Multi-beam spunbond lines use two to five spinning beams depositing sequential spunbond web layers on the same collection belt, with each beam independently controlled for polymer type, filament fineness, and web weight, enabling high-volume production at weights up to 300 grams per square metre through layer accumulation and enabling SMS and SMMS laminate structures by combining spunbond beams with meltblown stations between them.

Role

Increases spunbond line production capacity and enables multi-layer composite nonwoven structures through sequential beam deposition on a single line, with multi-beam configuration being the production technology for high-volume hygiene spunbond cover stocks requiring 300 to 500 metres per minute line speeds and for SMS composite nonwovens requiring spunbond-meltblown-spunbond layer combinations on a single production line.
