Spunbond Nonwoven Machinery

category
Spunbond machinery extrudes continuous polymer filaments directly from polymer melt through spinnerets, attenuates the filaments by high-velocity air drawing to defined fineness, deposits them on a moving collection screen as a random web, and bonds the web by thermal calender or through-air methods to produce spunbond nonwovens with high tensile strength, dimensional stability, and consistency for hygiene, medical, geotextile, and filtration applications.

Role

Produces the highest volume nonwoven fabric by converting polymer resin directly into bonded fabric without fibre stapling, spinning, or weaving intermediates, enabling the most economical nonwoven production route for polypropylene and polyester fabrics used as hygiene cover stocks, medical barrier fabrics, geotextile reinforcement, and packaging materials where the combination of mechanical performance and low production cost is the primary commercial driver.
