Adhesive Lamination Machinery
category
Adhesive lamination machinery bonds two or more substrate layers together using solvent-based, water-based, hot melt, or reactive polyurethane adhesive systems applied by gravure, slot die, or knife coating to one substrate surface before combining with the second substrate layer in a nip roll, producing composite laminates with defined inter-layer bond strength, breathability, and physical properties for waterproof breathable fabrics, automotive interiors, medical composites, and technical textile applications.
Role
Provides the bonding process that creates composite laminate materials by permanently joining substrate layers through adhesive that provides inter-layer cohesion while maintaining the individual properties of each layer, with adhesive lamination enabling the production of materials whose combined layer properties exceed what either substrate alone can provide for waterproof breathable membranes, acoustic panels, protective composites, and multi-functional technical textiles.
