Coating and Lamination Machinery

category
Coating and lamination machinery encompasses all mechanical and thermal systems used to apply continuous or patterned polymer, adhesive, or functional compound layers onto textile substrates, films, foams, and paper through knife, gravure, slot die, extrusion, screen, and rotary coating methods, or to bond separate substrate layers together through adhesive, thermal, flame, or ultrasonic lamination processes to create composite materials with enhanced barrier, waterproofing, breathability, mechanical, aesthetic, or functional properties for technical, medical, protective, and performance textile applications.

Role

Provides the manufacturing technology for producing composite textile materials and coated fabrics whose performance properties exceed those achievable in uncoated or unlaminated substrates, with coating and lamination being the primary value-adding processes for waterproof breathable outerwear, medical barrier fabrics, automotive composites, industrial protective clothing, inflatable structures, and specialty technical textiles where defined surface chemistry, barrier performance, or structural integration requirements cannot be met by the base textile substrate alone.
